Thought its equatorial position means fairly constant year round temperatures. Generally the summertime months in Sri Lanka are very hot with short, loud monsoons in the south west of the island. Therefore be sure to use adequate sun protection and drink plenty of water. We will visit a number of temples and monasteries during this holiday trip. Especially we need a certain level of reserve. Please bring clothes that cover the shoulders and pants / skirts that go past the knees.
